1. What is California Form 3519?

California Form 3519 is used for individuals who require an automatic tax payment extension. It consists of a short questionnaire and a payment worksheet where you can keep your records.

2. What I need California Form 3519 for?

• To notify that you have a tax owe for the previous year, or you want to ask for the payment extension;
• If, for some reason, you can’t file your tax return for this year in the needed time;
• In case one of the points above are not applied, don’t download CA Form 3519. 

3. How to fill out California Form 3519? 

Fillable California Form 3519 consists of two sections:

• In the beginning, you need to fill a short questionnaire online. Your personal information will help the IRS service to check your request faster and contact you in case something is wrong;
• The payment worksheet has to include four lines. You should indicate the tax you expect to owe or you have already owed. Then, write your payments and business credits (not everything can be filled in this part of pdf). In the third line, you need to put the total amount of the previous lines. Check your tax due carefully before you print the form. If line three is more than line one, you don’t need to mail this free blank.
