What is Form 2106?
Form 2106 is needed to return either ordinary or necessary expenses. The first one reflects the common business process, and the second one is considered as a helpful one.
What I need Form 2106 for?
The applicants submit form 2106 to claim business expenses. Note that only individuals who satisfy all the requirements listed in the applying instruction to the form may submit it. The possible cases are the expenses on corporate meals, gifts, car expenses, and so on. You need to save all the receipts as confirmation and attach them to the form.
Filling out Form 2106

Form 2106-EZ consists of two parts:
- Figure your expenses: this section has 6 rows where you need to mention the travel expenses, parking fees, transportation, meal and entertainment costs. In row 6 enter the total expenses amount;
- Provide information on your vehicle (here you need to enter the information about your vehicle. Note that this section needs to be submitted only if you declared the vehicle expenses while filling out the line 1 in the previous paper).
