How to fill out New Brunswick Personal Tax Credits Return form?
Filling out your td1 form cra is easy and only takes a few minutes! Here's what you need to do:
- Enter your personal information at the top of the form. This includes your name, address, and social insurance number.
- Basic personal amount. You could claim the basic personal amount if you were a resident of New Brunswick on December 31st of the tax year for which you are filing your return.
- Age amount. The age amount is a tax credit that you can claim if you are 65 years of age or older on December 31 of the tax year.
- Tuition amounts. You (or your spouse or common-law partner) can claim tuition, education, and textbook amounts for an eligible student who is your or your spouse's or common-law partner's child or grandchild.
- Disability amount. You can claim the disability amount if you have a severe and prolonged mental or physical impairment, are eligible for the disability tax credit, and were under 65 years of age at the end of the tax year.
- Spouse or common-law partner amount. You could claim this tax credit if you were married or in a common-law relationship.
- Caregiver amount. You can claim the caregiver amount for an eligible dependent child or grandchild who resided with you in Canada at any time in the tax year. The child or grandchild must have been:
- under 18 years of age at the end of the tax year, or
- 18 years of age or older and unable, because of mental or physical infirmity, to obtain the necessities of life for him- or herself.
How to submit New Brunswick Personal Tax Credits Return form?
The td1nb form must be submitted by April 30th in order to receive your tax credits for the previous tax year. If you are submitting your form online, you will need to create a My Service New Brunswick account. Once you have created an account, you will be able to log in and submit your form. If you are submitting your form in person, you can take it to your local Service New Brunswick office.
