What is IRS 990 – B Schedule?
IRS 990 – B Schedule is the form that usually provides the list of contributors and the amount of money they have donated to the organization. It is accompanied by 990-EZ, 990-PF, and other 990 forms. In form 990-EZ, you have to report the donation that was made by your organization, and in form 990-B, you have to extend previously given information.
What I need the IRS 990 – B Schedule for?
- Every organization that completes 990 form or 990-EZ form must provide 990-B schedule;
- This form is vital for tax-exempt companies who receive donations;
- Contributors may want to see this form either, to check whether their donations were counted in the tax report.
IRS 990 – B Schedule is not required if the organizations receive less than $5,000 from contributors in a year. The due date is determined by the forms that accompany this schedule. Check the deadline for 990 EZ and other 990 forms. They usually must be completed until the end of the fiscal year.

Before you start completing this form, check whether you have all the information to fill it out. You will need detailed data on the contributors. If you have more than one, you still need to provide information about each of them. There are six pages in the document, and 2 of them contain explanations for the form and detailed guidance. Start with the first page and move down step by step:
- Contributor’s information: name, address, contact phone, Zip code, EIN;
- Information about the payroll, personal and noncash active contributors;
- Religious or charitable contribution for your organization for over $1,000 a year.
