What Is the I-983 form?

Form I-983 works as an official training plan and should clearly state the STEM OPT student learning goals and confirm the employer's desire to help the student achieve these goals. If a student who is currently on a 12-month OPT requests an extension for 24 months, both the student and the employer must fill out this form.
