2. Besides the 'Date', locate the 'Invoice No.' section and enter the unique number for this invoice.
3. In 'Payment Terms', specify whether it's due on receipt, 30-days, 60-days, or whichever duration your labor contract binds.
4. In the 'Location' field, insert the area where the contracted work was performed.
5. The 'Bill To' section requires the client’s name, address, city, state, postal code, and phone.
6. The 'Description' field is for a summarization of the labor service provided. You need to write the details of the task performed.
7. Under 'QTY', input the quantity or the number of hours the work took.
8. For 'Unit Price', put in the rate per each unit, which can be hours/days/etc. of labor supplied.
9. The 'Total' field automates by multiplying QTY and Unit Price; if not, do this manually.
10. You have the option to add a list of materials used if any in the 'Material' field.
11. Write the total labor cost under the 'Labour' field.
12. If there are any 'Other' charges, include them in the respective field.
13. The 'Subtotal' should sum up Material, Labour, and Other sections.
14. Apply any 'Discount' if provided by deducting it from the Subtotal.
15. The 'Subtotal Less Discount' is an automatically calculated field; otherwise, subtract Discount from Subtotal manually.
16. Input the 'Tax Rate' applicable for your service.
17. The 'Total Tax' charges adjust by multiplying Subtotal Less Discount and Tax Rate.
18. The 'Balance Due $' should sum up Subtotal Less Discount and Total Tax to provide the final amount due.
19. Under 'Remarks' or 'Payment Instructions', note down any essential comments for the client about payment.
20. Complete the form by signing in the 'Company Signature' section.
21. The client is required to sign in the 'Client Signature' field to acknowledge the payment amount.
