How To Fill Out TD1AB Form 2024

The form is used to calculate the amount of tax credits that an individual is entitled to claim on their personal income tax return.

  • Basic Personal Amount is the amount of money that you are allowed to earn before you have to pay taxes
  • Age Amount is a tax credit that is available to seniors
  • Spouse or Common-Law Partner Amount is a tax credit that is available to those who are married or in a common-law relationship
  • Eligible Dependant Amount is a tax credit that is available to those who have any dependents
  • An Amount for caregivers is provided to those who care for a dependent
  • Disability Amount is available to those who have a disability
  • Tuition, education, and textbook amounts are provided to those who attend school

If you are eligible for any of these tax credits, you should claim them by completing and submitting an Alberta TD1AB to the Alberta government. Individuals could complete the TD1AB form by following these steps:

  1. Please enter your personal information at the top of the form
  2. Next, fill in your spouse or common-law partner's information, if applicable
  3. Enter the information of any dependents who are eligible for benefits
  4. List the amount of tax deductions you qualify for
  5. Sign and date the form
  6. Mail the completed form to the CRA

How to submit Alberta personal tax credits return form

Once you have completed the form, you will need to submit it to the Alberta Government. You can do this by mail, fax, or online. If you submit TD1AB by mail, you will need to send it to:

If you submit the form online, you must log in to your Alberta government account. Once you fill it out, you can submit TD1AB form.
